About

Taranaki Tile Centre began life on Devon Street West, later moving to Gill Street for many years. In 1998 the owners decided to move to the present site. In October 2001 Ian Burroughs purchased the Tile Centre and set about building the business as you see it today.

Ian served his apprenticeship as a plasterer and tiler and has been in the industry for 30 years. He is presently on the National advisory group for tiling on the BCITO. With Ian’s extensive experience he has passed his knowledge and understanding of the tiling industry onto his staff.

So whether you are building a new residence, renovating an existing home or wanting to try tiling DIY, our helpful staff offer reliable, practical advice giving guidance on colour combinations, layouts and concept ideas.
