Taranaki Tile Centre began life on Devon Street West, later moving to Gill Street for many years. In 1998 the owners decided to move to the present site. In October 2001 Ian Burroughs purchased the Tile Centre and set about building the business as you see it today. In October 2010 Blair Gemmell joined Ian and formed a partnership.
Blair has 18 years experience and is a BCITO Register Tiler. Ian served his apprenticeship as a plasterer and tiler and has been in the industry for 30 years. He is presently on the National advisory group for tiling on the BCITO.
